January begins with what the travel industry calls “Wave Season,” the time of year when cruise lines offer special discounts and incentives for you to book a cruise. Wave Season deals are for travelers who want value for money, such as upgrades to a nicer cabin or free onboard credits.If you’re like me one of the first things I do when my new calendar appears, I start plotting out my vacations plans. Each month I like to have something planned, looking for those long weekends, spring breaks, and summer plans. Some vacations plans have already been made and some great last minute opportunities are still waiting for the taking.Whether you are thinking of a romantic weekend over Valentines which this year extends into Presidents day, a fun and exciting Spring break week with friends or even a family reunion over the summer now is the time to catch the wave.
