We are all feeling a little stir crazy, some of us more then others. For an avid traveler, this current Covid19 situation has taken away one of our greatest pleasures...Travel. For me personally, my travel business has obviously taken a hit.  I have been able to help my clients through refunds, cancellations, reschedules and all the options/information the vendors are providing. Being available when my clients needed me most has been very rewarding. I spend most days following up on refunds, sitting on hold (sometimes hours) with the many different vendors and even booking some future travel. I have to say the cruise industry has been doing a pretty good job for both the consumers and the travel advisors for the most part. This has been an unprecedented time, a very "fluid situation" as its been described. I do my best to stay positive, focused, safe and healthy.

For me, my personal travel has been paused, just like everyone else. I am waiting on my refunds from airlines, even had to file a claim with my Allianz insurance. I have taken some time to broaden my knowledge. I have been doing some course work with ASTA ( American Society of Travel Advisors), hope to complete my certification soon. I have even been taking lunch breaks with the hubby as he is also working from home. The one thing that continues to get me thru each week/months is looking forward to future travel plans. My calendar for the end of 2020 will have some local travel, but look out 2021. Europe is in my sights, Venice, Greece, even Bordeaux are just a few trips I have planned. I am forever hopefully for this virus to move on and we can get back to what I love most...Travel
