What is the first thing you do when you return from your vacation?

Besides the standard post vacation chores, unpacking, laundry and such, the first thing I do is upload my photos. Sometimes it’s 40 pictures, sometimes it’s 800 pictures. The boring details of the upload, oh but the finished product is so worth it. Today there are so many great options for a traveler to capture the memories of the trip. I’m sort of old fashion, I like having my vacation photos in a book, with little narrations and trip details, so when I am older and having my senior moments I can be reminded. Reminded of all the wonderful people and places I experienced, the car rides, the cruises, the ski trips, and my beautiful family. Yes, these books will be my legacy to them.

With today’s social media, everyone shares their photos of the moment. I love Facebook and Instagram, don’t get me wrong, but there is nothing like holding a photo. Sure you can click your “likes” and post comments for that moment, then what?  Photo books are the best way to turn your digital photos into a beautiful story. While putting the book together takes some time, you won’t be disappointed. Preserving you favorite memories in a beautiful, long-lasting way may seem old fashion, but when you share the story of your vacation, you can’t help but SMILE.
